Will you lend a hand to lift the spirits of my friend, Rags Daniels?

rags_croppedVanity Fair thinks he’s classy. Those of us in the book community, authors and readers alike, think of him as a witty, generous, good friend who tells a great tale. Rags Daniels has suffered a serious stroke and is fighting for recovery. He’s making progress, too, thank goodness.

Why am I telling you, my readers, about this? I want us all to help Rags out a little. Run over to Amazon and buy one of his books. Hell, buy one of each of them. He’s an unbelievably good writer and I promise you won’t regret any purchase. So, go on. This’ll be your good deed for the day. And, most of us can use all the good deeds we can muster… I know you know what I mean!

About Ol' Big Jim

Jim L Wright has been a storekeeper, an embalmer, a hospital orderly, and a pathology medical coder, and through it all, a teller of tall tales. Many of his stories, like his first book, New Yesterdays, are set in his hometown of Piedmont, Alabama. For seven years he lived in the oldest continuously inhabited city in the world, Amman, Jordan where he spent his time trying to visit every one of the thousands of Ammani coffee shops and scribbling in his ever-present notebook. These days he and his husband, Zeek, live in a cozy little house in Leeds, Alabama. He’s still scribbling in his notebooks when he isn’t gardening or refinishing a lovely bit of furniture. His book, New Yesterdays, can be found at Amazon US, Amazon UK, Smashwords, and Barnes and Noble.
