Adventure of a Lifetime!

How often does a thirteen year-old boy get the chance to change the course of his nation’s history and save thousands of lives at the same time… even though he hadn’t planned to do anything other than find something to do on a summer afternoon? How does such a boy overcome moral dilemmas no boy of his age should face to save his friends?

Come along and follow just such a boy as he takes off on a wild adventure, finding himself in another time, making new friends, and helping his new-found Cherokee friends change the world of the Principal People.

About Ol' Big Jim

Jim L Wright has been a storekeeper, an embalmer, a hospital orderly, and a pathology medical coder, and through it all, a teller of tall tales. Many of his stories, like his first book, New Yesterdays, are set in his hometown of Piedmont, Alabama. For seven years he lived in the oldest continuously inhabited city in the world, Amman, Jordan where he spent his time trying to visit every one of the thousands of Ammani coffee shops and scribbling in his ever-present notebook. These days he and his husband, Zeek, live in a cozy little house in Leeds, Alabama. He’s still scribbling in his notebooks when he isn’t gardening or refinishing a lovely bit of furniture. His book, New Yesterdays, can be found at Amazon US, Amazon UK, Smashwords, and Barnes and Noble.

A fascinating must-read story about a boy that will have you wishing that you are him. I recommend this to everyone who likes a good story. When is the sequel coming out?

Thank you so much George! The sequel will come, but it has proven more difficult to write since coming back to the States. I’ll have it out though.
