Friendsgiving in West Virginia

Hi faithful readers! I’m back after a long absence. I hope a few of you have kept me on your list.

Zeek and I are off to West Virginia next week to spend the holiday with cousins and extended family. Stay tuned for lots of stories, pictures and who knows what else!

I’m making a year-end resolution to begin posting again on a regular basis, so sit back and relax as we begin story-telling again.

See ya!

About Ol' Big Jim

Ol' Big Jim, has been a storekeeper, an embalmer, a hospital orderly, a medical biller, and through it all, a teller of tall tales. Many of his stories, like his first book, New Yesterdays, are set in his hometown of Piedmont, Alabama. For seven years, he lived in the oldest continuously inhabited city in the world, Amman, Jordan where he spends his time trying to visit each one of the thousands of Ammani coffee shops and scribbling in his ever-present notebook. These days, you can find him back stateside, still filling notebooks.

I’ve missed your blogs, Big Jim. Looks like you and I have the same intention. I’ve kept after my blog posts, one every two weeks for a couple of months. I keep my antennae up all the time to look for new blog ideas. My problem is, my blogs go on to 2,000 words each. SEO likes that, but I don’t get many readers with that kind of energy.

Anyway, friend, I’m gonna keep my eye open. Well, I’ve still got both eyes, so I’ll use ’em both.

Thanks for staying with me, Jay! I’ve been missing your posts, as well! I think I’m not getting notification like I did in the past. I’ll sure be visiting again and possibly sharing some of your posts!
