Blogging From A-to-Z April Challenge (2021)

Here we stand. Looming large before us is the Blogging From A-to-Z April Challenge (2021). It has been a few years since I participated, but I have so many fond memories of the years I did it. I met lots of wonderful bloggers and read some hugely interesting posts.

As I am a Navy Veteran, I’ve decided to devote this year’s A to Z to US Navy ships. I’ll share some interesting (I hope) history and show you some pictures. I’ll generally stick to one ship per day, but on 1st April I will share two ships with you because they are both close to my heart.

So, tune in here every day, Monday through Saturday to see my posts please and thank you (we take Sundays off). Like, share, and comment too! Good, bad, or indifferent, your comments help me to grow as a blogger. So, I appreciate all your input.

About Ol' Big Jim

Jim L Wright has been a storekeeper, an embalmer, a hospital orderly, and a pathology medical coder, and through it all, a teller of tall tales. Many of his stories, like his first book, New Yesterdays, are set in his hometown of Piedmont, Alabama. For seven years he lived in the oldest continuously inhabited city in the world, Amman, Jordan where he spent his time trying to visit every one of the thousands of Ammani coffee shops and scribbling in his ever-present notebook. These days he and his husband, Zeek, live in a cozy little house in Leeds, Alabama. He’s still scribbling in his notebooks when he isn’t gardening or refinishing a lovely bit of furniture. His book, New Yesterdays, can be found at Amazon US, Amazon UK, Smashwords, and Barnes and Noble.

  1. My dad was a naval aviator, so I’ll be interested, Jim. Good luck with this project.
