Psst! Want a Little Freebie?

Readers are some of the greatest people in the world! Perhaps you’re a reader but just don’t seem to have the time with everything else that’s on your plate. You likely do have a bit time though, on your commute, or when you’re doing a bit of shopping; so many little time niches that would be amenable to listening to a nice tale. That’s where I come in. For a limited time, I’m offering New Yesterdays audiobook as a free download! All you have to do is contact me at my email (timetravelstoriesbyjim@gmail.com), or through Facebook Messenger, X, or Bluesky. I’ll send you a one-time password and just like that, you’ve a new book in your library! What do you have to lose? Come on around and let me give you a freebie, won’t you?

While you’re out and about, come over to my shiny new webpage. You can find lots of things to excite the brain cells over there! Welcome!

About Ol' Big Jim

Jim L Wright has been a storekeeper, an embalmer, a hospital orderly, and a pathology medical coder, and through it all, a teller of tall tales. Many of his stories, like his first book, New Yesterdays, are set in his hometown of Piedmont, Alabama. For seven years he lived in the oldest continuously inhabited city in the world, Amman, Jordan where he spent his time trying to visit every one of the thousands of Ammani coffee shops and scribbling in his ever-present notebook. These days he and his husband, Zeek, live in a cozy little house in Leeds, Alabama. He’s still scribbling in his notebooks when he isn’t gardening or refinishing a lovely bit of furniture. His book, New Yesterdays, can be found at Amazon US, Amazon UK, Smashwords, and Barnes and Noble.

  1. Wow, Jim, that’s wonderful. I would feel guilty about taking a free book from you.
