Today, The Misanthropologist asked the question, “Do you like going back and reading books you’ve already read? Â Have you ever felt that in re-reading a novel, you can gain a better understanding or appreciation of it?”
That got me thinking of books I’ve returned to again and again over the years. One of my favorites to re-read is Joe David Brown’s long out of print Stars in My Crown. I never tire of the story told by a boy about being raised by his Parson grandfather and grandmother. If you can find it, I’d strongly recommend you give it a read.
